NICE*DAY #1: SHAKE IT OFF WITH TAYLOR SWIFT

Our special Nice*Day family has had an eventful summer, with mom being diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May and their 14 year old daughter also being diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August.

Thanks to donors like YOU, the family had a wonderful worry-free night out and created memories to last a lifetime.

​First up was an interview with KARE11.  The daughter was thrilled to be on TV.  See the wonderful story featured on KARE11 here:​

​Next the family took their first Uber (exciting!) to dinner at Kincaid's.  Kincaid's had been the mom's parents favorite spot so dinner was extra meaningful.

​​Finally it was off to the show at the Xcel Energy Center!

​The Have A Nice Day Foundation had worked social media in advance of the concert asking Taylor and her dancers to throw extra smiles towards our family in Row 26.  It truly felt like Taylor was singing right to them!

​It was wonderful to get to see the family relax and 'Shake It Off' with Taylor Swift:
