Families with a parent fighting cancer face a disruption to their normal routines and an uncertain road forward. It is our goal to give these brave families a Nice*Day full of sunshine, creating memories that they will remember forever.

Eligibility Requirements:
In Minnesota, Nice*Day applications are currently available for families with:
1. A parent currently undergoing treatment for cancer and
2. At least one dependent child age 12 or under in the home.
3. Living or undergoing cancer treatment in the Minneapolis / St. Paul Metro Area
Nationwide, Nice Game*Days are granted to parents undergoing cancer treatment in the specific metro area where the sporting event takes place (e.g. Football Championships, Final Four, World Cup, Olympics), thereby reducing the cost of lodging and transportation. Applications are available to local residents through local oncology clinic social workers two months prior to each event.

What if children are over the age of 12?
The family may have other children over the age of 12, but at least one dependent child must be 12 or under at the time of the grant. It is our hope to raise enough money to eventually be able to grant Nice*Days to parents with cancer and any minor child.
Will eligibility be verified?
Yes, as part of the application process and prior to be being approved, all eligibility requirements will be verified prior to application approval.
Do you give trips to Disney World?
No, all Nice*Day grants currently occur within the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area. As a young organization, we rely heavily on the availability of in-kind donations from businesses (tickets, meals etc.) and have to work within our financial constraints.
All Nice Game*Day grants occur within the metro area where the unique sporting event takes place.
